The Ladies Who Lunch – Satirical Watercolor by Karan Gerard
“The Ladies Who Lunch” is a witty watercolor painting by Karan Gerard, inspired by a lineup of mannequins in Noosa, blending fashion and irony.
Walking down Noosa you see well clad visitors going off to lunch. In front of a shop there was this line up of mannequins. The irony was uncanny.
Watercolour on rice paper mounted on archival board.
Framed size: 38 x 52 cm. Black lucite frame, no glass. The rice paper has been sealed with matt spray then covered with paste wax to preserve it.
