Sue Osborne
I have been painting and drawing for many years since attending Art College instead of mainline schooling. I started with watercolours and for 25 years under the tutelage of Rick Rowton and Joanne Miles, became successful as a Watercolour Artist in Melbourne.
As a family we moved to beautiful Hervey Bay where I taught myself Silk Painting, both for fabric and murals, when not Silk Painting I dabbled in pottery, such fun work.
With another move to Bribie Island I took up Pastel painting for about 5 years.
Then about 2 years ago Mixed Media came into my life. I am enjoying the new challenges Mixed Media brings to the canvas. It has given me a whole new understanding of freedom of paint and textures, on a much larger scale than I have ever painted.
My hands are rarely idle, I enjoy knitting and sewing Bandanas and Bowties for raising money for my love of Bull Terrier Rescue.
