🎨 Judith Rose

🖋️ About the Artist

🔗 My website

Judith Rose is an impressionist oil painter whose work grows from a lifelong love of landscape, light, and the quiet moments that often pass unnoticed. Working both en plein air and in the studio, she moves confidently across mediums, capturing the essence of place through loose, expressive brushwork — from Australia’s sun‑washed coastlines and bushland to the ancient riverbanks of Jeonju in South Korea.

Her practice is grounded in observation and stillness: the belief that beauty reveals itself when you slow down enough to truly look.

Judith studied Fine Arts and Visual Culture at Curtin University in Western Australia and continued her training at the National Art School (Darlinghurst), Julian Ashton Fine Art School (The Rocks), and TAFE Gallery School Northern Beaches — all in Sydney.

Her paintings are held in private collections across Australia and internationally, and she exhibits both locally and overseas. For Where it began, Judith presents a collection of works drawn from peaceful moments on the Sunshine Coast and from her travels — an invitation to pause, to look, and to find stillness in both the familiar and the far away.
