🖌️ Artist Statement
“I took up painting in 2002 under the tutorship of the late Brian Allison. Since then, I’ve developed a deep passion for watercolour and strive for excellence in that medium — rather than being merely good in many.” Barry Green is a traditionalist at heart, crafting realistic scenes shaped by his background in architectural draughting and extensive travel across Australia and overseas. His work reflects a love for structure, light, and place — often focusing on iconic subjects from Australia and New Zealand.
🖼️ Featured Works
Barry’s portfolio includes over 60 original watercolours, many framed and available for purchase. His subjects range from rural landscapes and coastal vistas to European architecture and historic Australian landmarks.
